A blog for a sweet tooth…
Welcome to The Caramel Sins and the start of my new blogging venture. I have spent the better part of this day updating my web site with my son Mark. We will be launching it hopefully tomorrow. New pictures and a new format. I have my caramel sauce (2 sizes) pictures done and have delivered my individual pieces to the photographer for new shots.
As this is my first blog, I would appreciate any feedback you could give me. I want to have fun with this and make it interesting. The Caramel Sins business is my passion! I spent so many years developing this formula to be great tasting and not sticky. I love the taste of caramel but hate things sticking to my teeth. So it was this desire for taste and texture that drove my to develop the caramels I make today.
I want to share my journey making this little business into a successful candy company. We are about 7 years old and we have myself, my son Mark and my husband Bob in our little company. Mark takes care of the marketing and tech stuff, Bob is the packaging and shipping guy, and I am the chief cook and bottle washer, quite literally. Just a few pictures of what I do.
